Basic Care Course with Gerontopsychiatric Competence
In our basic care course, we impart the professional and communication skills—and thereby the foundations—required for comprehensive, activating care, social support, and companionship for individuals in need of care. Following theoretical instruction and practical exercises, you will complete a workplace internship.

Geriatric psychiatric expertise
Through our specialized module on gerontopsychiatric competence, we also qualify you in the fields of caregiving and daily living support. As a caregiver and daily living companion, you provide care and stimulation to individuals in need, doing everything possible to positively influence their overall well-being, physical condition, or emotional state, thereby enhancing their quality of life. The curriculum of our qualification program complies with the requirements of the current Caregiver Guidelines, pursuant to Sections 43b in conjunction with 53b of Book XI of the German Social Code (SGB XI).

German for Nursing
In day-to-day professional practice, it is particularly important to be able to communicate effectively with those requiring care, colleagues, and family members. Through our German language training program for the healthcare sector, we further develop your linguistic proficiency, focusing specifically on the specialized terminology used in nursing. You should already possess a solid A2 level of proficiency to participate in this course.

Admission requirements
You should have an interest in the nursing profession, possess empathy, be medically fit for the role, and have a minimum language proficiency level of B1, including the ability to read and write. For our courses featuring German language support for nursing, a solid A2 language proficiency level is required. We will enhance your general language skills and teach you specialized German terminology for the nursing field.
Diploma
Upon successful completion of a program at the ZukunftsAkademie, you will receive a certificate or a certificate of attendance detailing your achieved results. Following the course, you will be qualified to perform tasks related to basic nursing care and daily support for individuals requiring care. This opens up employment opportunities for you within the healthcare sector.
