The guideline pursuant to Sections 43b, 53b SGB XI on the qualification of additional caregivers in care facilities dated August 19, 2008, updated in November 2016, stipulates an annual training course of 16 hours (2 days). The cost is 320 euros per person.

The date of the training depends on the topic you choose. This could be the following topics, for example:

• Geriatric psychiatric basics (caregiver guideline, terms…)
• Disease patterns (dementia, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders…)
• Nutrition and illnesses in context
• Care models
• Law (liability, duty of confidentiality, care law, measures involving deprivation of liberty…)
• Communication with dementia patients
• validation
• Activity planning and leisure activities
• Creative work (practical exercises: singing, creative design, storytelling…)
• Activation (gymnastics, games, memory training…)

We carry out the topics regularly. Simply let us know your preferred topic and your preferred period, then we have a basis for coordination.
